Boss:" I cannot see much from wat u'd done in ur portfolio. Do u really have any experience in designing residential? doing any free lance regarding tat?
I reply her honestly with smiling face(ashame of tat actually):" No."
Boss:"Then u have a lot more to learn. If tat's so, u have to take some times to work on it. Actually wat do u expect from our firm? How much do u expect for the salary?
Since she asked, i jes bare in mind wat my fren get for her salary in KL n wat she told me, i jes spoke out in no hesitation:" RM1500 and above." Haha, m i too over? i dun think so la, tat's the rating now in Penang for fresh grade lah! N also, i dun want to be the black sheep who破坏市场的。HAHA!
The boss showed her considering face...keep on saying tat i have no experience, i have to learn n work independantly...bla bla bla...n i knew she was actually intended to lower down my salary. Anyway, it still can be negotiate.
Then the conversation came to Uniplan which i done my practical there during my industrial trainning. And only then i knew during my trainning, actually i'd learn some skills and technique of quiker way in producing conceptual board which other interior firm couldn't figure out. Now i knew...And tat's the prescious thing i can "sell" myself......
I can never dare to say that the boss will hire me, but i jes thank GOD for all his arrangement n plans on me. Even for this interview, i jes speak out watever i knew, be humble but in a way of confident...(dunno if i can say like this o not). ANyway, i m still waiting for the response, but i will leave the decision on HIM.
Dear father, thanks for leading me all the way, n i would like U to be my GUIDE in my entire life!

Not bad for a first timer. At least you're being genuine and speaking your mind. Well, I guess she's right. There's a lot of freelancing jobs to do *not that I know anything about architecture myself*, but it takes time to build up your portfolio. Gambateh girl! :)
